ABOUT JOB
Our client is looking for an Administrative Assistant to the Managing Director to oversee the efficient operation of the Company. Duties would include functions in payroll, benefits, accounts receivable/payable, budget control, recruiting, orientation and training, scheduling, office facilities, purchasing, and information technology.
▪ Assistance with office management
▪ Assisting in Human Resource tasks, including recruiting and reference checks, hiring, orientation, and training
▪ Orient new employees and assist in onboarding tasks and paperwork
▪ Serve as the secondary point of staff contact regarding personnel, IT and/or facilities questions
▪ Liaise with outside accounting personnel regarding monthly and year-end accounting
▪ Draft written correspondence (e.g., letters, memos), as needed
▪ Co-manage special projects and Company events/outings/parties
SKILLS
▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a clear and pleasant voice
▪ Knowledge of the current Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
▪ Assertive personality and self-starter mentality
▪ Courteousness, tact and a professional approach.
▪ Strong organization, time management and prioritization skills
▪ Good discretion when handling confidential documents and information
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
