We are seeking a highly organized administrative assistant to join our team! The person in this role will support daily office operations, ensure smooth communication, and enhance overall office efficiency. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and proactive.
This role is fully remote. Work hours are very flexible overall, though some availability is needed between 8am and 2:30pm central time.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate calendar management and scheduling for team members, including appointment setting
- Maintain organized digital filing systems
- Perform data entry tasks using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other relevant software
- Assist with simple bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
- Proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism
- Provide exceptional customer support via phone, messaging, or videoconferencing, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Help us maintain high quality service delivery by checking in with our clients through messages and surveys
Experience/Skills Needed
- Prior office experience or administrative support experience preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and basic computer literacy required
- Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping software is advantageous but not required
- Strong organizational skills are critical for this role
- Attention to detail for accurate data entry and proofreading
- Customer service experience with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
Our top priority is finding someone who is a good fit as far as personality and innate skills (e.g., personable, detail-oriented) who can grow with us over time; we are open to hiring someone with little to no experience and providing training.
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
