ABOUT JOB
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to support our manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong internal customer service skills.
Full Time – Monday thru Friday 7am-3:30pm
Key Responsibilities
Order Processing: Accurately enter Purchase Orders (POs) into the system and ensure all data matches procurement requirements.
Vendor Communication: Initiate and send professional emails to vendors to place orders and request quotes.
Pricing Follow-up: Proactively follow up with vendors regarding pricing updates, lead times, and order confirmations.
Internal Support: Act as a point of contact for internal departments to answer questions regarding order status and parts availability.
Documentation: Maintain digital records and ensure all vendor correspondence is filed correctly for audit purposes.
Qualifications & Skills
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data sorting, and formatting) and general office software.
Communication: Exceptional email etiquette and the ability to correspond professionally with external partners.
Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy in alphanumeric data entry to prevent procurement errors.
Customer Service: A helpful, “internal-customer” focused mindset when assisting team members from other departments.
