ABOUT JOB
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Administration Support Officer to join our passionate team.
About the Role
As an Administration Support Officer, you will provide flexible administrative support across multiple service sites. Working closely with staff, volunteers, and clients, you will assist with daily operations, provide leave coverage, and help ensure our services run smoothly.
This is a dynamic “support” role suited to someone who enjoys variety, collaboration, and making a meaningful difference in the community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Communicating with clients, volunteers, and team members
- Providing general administrative support across sites
- Assisting with financial administration, including invoicing and payment reconciliation
- Maintaining accurate records and data entry
Position Details
- Part-time – minimum 20 hours per week across 4 days
- Start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM depending on service
About You
You are organised, adaptable, and enjoy supporting teams in a community-focused environment. You build positive relationships easily and are comfortable managing competing priorities across multiple locations.
Essential:
- Formal qualifications in office administration or minimum 2 years’ relevant experience
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High proficiency with Microsoft 365
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Residence within reasonable proximity to our service areas
Desirable:
- Experience in the community services or not-for-profit sector
- Experience working with volunteers
- Experience with client management systems and data entry
