ABOUT JOB

 

Our client  is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Customer Service/Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced office environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong computer proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls, greet visitors, and provide friendly, professional customer service.
  • Return customer calls and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Enter sales orders accurately and create, update, and confirm work orders using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and production software.
  • Print, organize, and assemble work orders for production.
  • Enter and maintain pricing information on sales orders.
  • Verify order details to ensure accuracy and completeness before processing.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for efficient record keeping and document retrieval.
  • Perform data entry and general administrative support duties.
  • Review data regularly to ensure proficiency and maintain data integrity.
  • Assist with basic office operations and complete additional administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service and data entry experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and database software.
  • Experience with ERP systems or order entry software is a plus.
  • Excellent typing, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for verifying quantities, processing orders, and calculating time cards.
  • Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and willingness to work as part of a team.
