ABOUT JOB
we are seeking a reliable and motivated Office Support / Administration Assistant to join our team.
About the Role
This is a varied and hands-on role providing essential administrative and office support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the business. The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple tasks while supporting both office operations and the estimating team.
Key Responsibilities
- General office administration and clerical support
- Answering and directing phone calls and emails
- Data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Preparing documents, reports, and correspondence
- Scheduling meetings and managing calendars
- Filing, scanning, and document management
- Assisting the estimating team with tender preparation, including document collation, formatting spreadsheets, and submissions
- Tracking tender deadlines and ensuring submissions are completed on time
- Assisting management and team members with ad-hoc administrative tasks
About You
- Previous experience in an administration or office support role (preferred but not essential)
- Experience assisting with tenders or construction/estimating administration (highly regarded but not required)
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, friendly, and reliable attitude
