JOB DETAILS
The Office Assistant provides general administrative duties, accounting, customer service, and program registration support for the education department. Areas of responsibility include: administration of all program registration details and database, answering and responding to all incoming calls and emails, maintaining correspondence between program staff and participants, and purchasing program supplies.
- Bachelor’s or AA Degree preferred.
- Experience in high level customer service required.
- Public speaking skills required.
- Experience in program registration and general accounting preferred.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft and Google applications).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, self-starter and detail-oriented.
- Excellent oral, written, organizational skills.
- Experience composing written correspondence.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in public and internal customer service.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule that may include some weekends and evenings.
- Responsible for data entry, maintenance, updating and tracking all database systems in the department.
- Create detailed reports/rosters, and track information regarding program participants.
- Responsible for answering all incoming calls and emails regarding general information and program registration.
- Assist in marketing programs, including making outbound calls, mailing program information, and seeking new outlets for material distribution.
- Maintain and update all file systems.
- Work with administrative and accounting staff to ensure accuracy for all registrations.
- Serve as liaison with membership to track all members attending programs.
- Support department Program staff as needed.
- Coordinate and collaborate on projects and work assignments with the other office staff.
- Perform other duties as required.
$20.00 – $22.00 per hour
