Our client has an opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant .
General Description: Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our team of professionals, assisting in daily office needs, and managing our company’s general administrative activities. . Additionally, excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to organize their work using tools like MS Word, Excel, and office equipment is pertinent to this role. Ultimately, a successful Administrative Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Manage professionals’ calendars
- Write and distribute emails
- Assist in the preparation of permit application submittals
- Maintain a filing system
- Maintain contact lists
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
- Work as part of a high performing team to meet/ exceed client expectations/ deadlines
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
