The Role As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in the administration, onboarding, and compliance of our workforce. You will collaborate closely with the leadership team to ensure a seamless employee experience and maintain the high standards of data security required in the healthcare technology space within a cooperative, remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the recruitment lifecycle by coordinating interviews and managing candidate communications.
  • Facilitate HIPAA-compliant onboarding, ensuring all new hires complete mandatory security and privacy training.
  • Maintain accurate digital employee records and ensure data integrity within our HR systems.
  • Assist in the administration of benefits, multi-state payroll data, and company policies.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR procedures and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in modern HRIS tools and digital collaboration platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack).
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and general employment labor laws.
  • Strong organizational abilities and a high level of discretion regarding sensitive information.
  • Exceptional communication skills suitable for a remote team environment.
