Requirements
  • 3+ years of closing experience in a high-velocity environment
  • True hunter with strong discovery skills and experience conducting outbound prospecting
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced pipeline and maintain exceptional organization across a high volume of active prospects
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Zoom, Chorus, Outreach, Excel and data-driven storytelling
  • Comfortable selling Software as a Service solutions; cross-functional collaboration with Account Managers and other stakeholders
  • Ability to explain value propositions, handle objections, and guide merchants through technical decision-making
  • Ability to lead client-facing conversations and navigate complex or multi-step negotiations
  • Experience explaining and guiding merchants through the implementation and integration considerations of a platform-based product
  • Experience in educating merchants on platform components such as point-of-sale integrations, ordering channels, loyalty features, and data insights
Responsibilities
  • Run a complete, fast-paced sales cycle, from cold outreach through signed contract and handoff to Implementation
  • Drive high-volume pipeline management across a large book of small and medium-sized business accounts
  • Conduct virtual discovery, demos, and product recommendations tailored to merchant needs
  • Educate merchants on key components of the DoorDash Commerce Platform, including point-of-sale integrations, ordering channels, loyalty features, and data insights
  • Address technical and operational objections (e.g., integration capabilities, resource constraints, competing priorities)
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping merchants understand how Commerce Platform can grow revenue and improve operations
  • Partner with cross-functional teams—including Account Managers, Marketing, and Implementation—to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
  • Influence product adoption and play a key role in scaling DoorDash’s next major platform offering
Desired Qualifications
  • Restaurant technology experience is highly preferred
