ABOUT JOB
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, understanding health insurance, and proficiency in office management tools. This role involves managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations. The position offers an engaging work environment where attention to detail and multitasking are essential.
Duties
- Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Schedule appointments and manage calendar coordination using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools
- Handle data entry, filing, and maintain accurate records with attention to detail
- Assist with billing, bookkeeping, and basic QuickBooks tasks as needed
- Support office management tasks including supply inventory and organization of office space
- Provide customer support via phone, email, or in person with professional phone etiquette
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution
- Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and document preparation
- Support administrative projects including proofing correspondence and managing incoming/outgoing mail
- Checking insurance eligiblity from the insurance and inform to the patienets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management, clerical work, or reception roles; prior dental or medical receptionist experience is a plus
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and office equipment
- Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping software preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal communication
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail for data entry and proofreading tasks
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in medical office administrative support or personal assistant roles is advantageous
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
