ABOUT JOB
Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Operations and the Senior Desk Clerk, the Desk Clerk is responsible for performing the day-to-day activities as a concierge.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential duties of the Front Desk Clerk include but are not limited to the following activities:
- Directs tenants and visiting officials to the appropriate offices.
- Answers telephone calls, referring callers to appropriate staff; takes messages as necessary
- Provides crisis intervention in an emergency and contacts appropriate staff, providing any assistance that is necessary.
- Prepares and submits reports as required
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualification:
- A High School Diploma or GED
- One year of experience working for a government or non-profit agency or organization providing services to individuals who are either mentally ill or have substance addictions.
- Ability to interact with all levels of staff and clients, good communication skills.
