ABOUT JOB

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Data Input: Transferring data from paper documents, PDFs, or audio files into digital formats like spreadsheets or databases.
  • Quality Control: Verifying information against original source documents and correcting any errors or discrepancies.
  • Record Maintenance: Organizing and filing physical and digital files.
  • Database Updates: Updating existing records with new or revised information as needed.
  • Reporting: Compiling and generating summaries or reports based on entered data.
  • Data Security: Following established confidentiality protocols and performing regular backups to prevent data loss.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Computer Proficiency: Strong knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word) or Google Workspace.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision is critical for avoiding typos and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Organization & Focus: Ability to concentrate on repetitive tasks while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication to clarify data requirements and report errors.
  • Education: Usually requires a high school diploma or GED, with on-the-job training provided for proprietary software.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
