ABOUT JOB

 

Our client  is looking to hire a receptionist to serve the face of the company, balancing customer service with administrative tasks. As the first point of contact for guests, their actionable duties span front desk management, communications, and clerical operations.

Your responsibilities will also encompass data entry duties, including transcribing information from source documents into digital formats, verifying data for accuracy, and organizing files to ensure business records remain reliable and accessible.

Responsibilities

Receptionist

  • Maintaining visitor logbooks, issuing visitor badges, and monitoring lobby access.
  • Operating multiline phone systems to answer, screen, and forward incoming calls.
  • Providing basic, accurate company information phone, or email inquiries.
  • Sorting, tracking, and distributing daily mail, packages, and office correspondence.
  • Managing calendars, booking meetings, and setting up conference spaces.
  • Monitoring and ordering office supplies while keeping inventory of stock.

Responsibilities

Data Entry

  • Transferring text and numerical data from physical documents, PDFs, or audio files into digital systems like Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, or CRM platforms.
  • Reviewing and cross-checking newly entered data against original source documents to prevent or correct typos, missing details, and discrepancies.
  • Handling sensitive information (e.g., customer or financial records) securely and strictly following privacy guidelines and security protocols.
  • Performing general office tasks such as scanning documents, generating data reports, and conducting research to find missing information.

Qualifications

  • Best candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a relevant position
  • Friendly outgoing personality
  • Detail-oriented multitasker

Position

  • Full-time – hourly

Compensation

  • Hourly rate range of $44,500 – $45,500
