ABOUT JOB

 

The Administrative Assistant supports and assists general office activities and projects with administrative tasks. Under moderate supervision, work may involve contact with Administrative Management (Accounting, Human Resources, and CEOs).

Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Update and file company documents for Administrative team.
  • Assist administrative team as requested.
  • Pick-up and/or drop-off documents from restaurants when necessary.
  • Update Administrative team on saved/scanned documents on shared files.
  • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail for the office.
  • Process print jobs, scanning and filing as requested.
  • Perform clerical duties such as typing, filing, proofreading and sorting mail.
  • Organize and prepare correspondence.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook,) at a proficient level.
  • Knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc) at a proficient level.
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Interest in gaining knowledge of payroll processes and procedures.
  • Staff timecard monitoring/review
  • Staff tip disbursement monitoring/review
  • Ability to interpret verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level.
  • Ability to keep workspaces organized and maintained.
  • Alert management of low supplies and assists in supply stocking and distribution.
  • Must be able to work effectively with others in person and in group settings.
  • Must be able to prioritize, manage time, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to interpret verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally on phone, email, and in-person.
  • Must be able to operate general office equipment (copier, fax, phone systems, etc.).

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • At least one year of directly related or closely related experience.

  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.
  • Follow through on all requests.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour
