Our client is seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Clerk to join our growing team.
The offered salary for this role is between $25 – $40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
Professionally handle and resolve customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
Process customer orders, prepare correspondence, and fulfil customer needs to ensure satisfaction.
Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods and tools.
Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents.
Liaise with internal departments such as logistics and sales to coordinate customer service efforts.
Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies to maintain a high standard of service.
Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a customer service or client-facing role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
Strong active listening, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software.
Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience within the agriculture, logistics, or food production industry is highly desirable but not essential.
