Job Responsibilities:

As a Data Assistant, you will:

• Assist with the collection, cleaning, and organization of large datasets from various sources.
• Prepare and format data for analysis and reporting.
• Help the data team with data entry, processing, and analysis tasks.
• Conduct basic data quality checks and resolve data discrepancies.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of data dashboards and reports.
• Support the team in extracting and transforming data for use in business analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Document data processes and methodologies to ensure transparency and repeatability.
• Assist in maintaining databases and data repositories.
• Stay up-to-date with data management best practices and tools.

Key Requirements:

• A degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to spot data discrepancies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (experience with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced functions).
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio is a plus.
• Knowledge of data cleaning and transformation techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to present data findings clearly.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
• Experience with data integration tools like Alteryx or Talend.
• Familiarity with data storage systems (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
• Understanding of statistical analysis methods.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts or algorithms.
