Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry specialist to join our team

This role is fundamental to our success, ensuring the quality and accuracy of the data that powers our innovative technologies. The ideal candidate will be a highly organised individual with a passion for data integrity, playing a crucial part in supporting our data-driven projects.

Responsibilities

Accurately and efficiently input, update, and maintain large volumes of data across various company databases and systems.
Review and verify data for errors, omissions, or duplications, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and integrity.
Prepare and organise source documents for data entry, identifying and interpreting data to be entered.
Perform regular data quality checks and contribute to data cleansing initiatives.
Adhere strictly to data privacy and security policies, handling sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
Generate reports and retrieve data from systems for analysis as required by the team.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management processes and procedures.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a data entry, data clerk, or similar role.
Exceptional typing speed and accuracy with a keen eye for detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and identifying data inconsistencies.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
(Desirable) Familiarity with database software and an interest in emerging technologies such as AI and data analytics.
