Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Data Entry & Administrative Specialist is an individual contributor who reports directly to the Manager. This position supports the store’s administrative and operational functions by maintaining accurate records, processing invoices and payroll, updating pricing, creating signs and labels, supporting hiring efforts, and completing a variety of office and operational tasks.
Essential Responsibilities
- Enter vendor invoices, bills, and other store data accurately and efficiently
- Process payroll and maintain payroll-related records
- Update retail pricing, cost changes, and product information
- Create, print, and organize shelf labels, promotional signs, and other store materials
- Process manufacturer coupon redemptions and required paperwork
- Maintain organized files, records, and store documentation
- Assist with hiring by posting job openings and maintaining applicant information
- Assist with store social media posts and other communications
- Prepare reports and complete general administrative duties
- Support the Store Manager with day-to-day operational and office tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous administrative, bookkeeping, payroll, office, or retail experience preferred
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Dependable with excellent attendance and a positive attitude
