ABOUT JOB

 

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the integrity of our financial data by accurately inputting customer billing, vendor invoices, and pricing information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Data Entry: Accurately enter vendor invoices, customer billing information, and financial documents into our accounting system.
  • Verification: Cross-reference bills against purchase orders and supporting documentation to ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Records Management: Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll records.
  • Communication: Serve as a point of contact for basic inquiries regarding AR/AP information and maintain professional correspondence with vendors and team members.
  • Operational Support: Assist with general office tasks, including job costing, filing, and specialized data entry projects as needed.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive financial and employee information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with QuickBooks and MS Office Suite (Excel/Word) or Google Workspace.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Familiarity with basic accounting principles and standard AR/AP practices.
  • Detail-Oriented: A high degree of accuracy and the ability to spot errors in large data sets.
  • Time Management: Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in an independent work environment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills and a positive, “team-first” attitude.

Education & Experience

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Proven track record in data entry, administrative office procedures, or basic accounting.

Pay: $40,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
