ABOUT JOB

 

Our client  is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry & Operations Clerk to support our candle manufacturing, importing, and distribution operations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate records, updating operational reports, and ensuring information is current across all departments. The ideal candidate is proficient in Excel, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain accurate data in company databases, spreadsheets, and reporting systems.
  • Update and maintain control sheets for customer orders, inventory, production schedules, and purchase orders.
  • Manage and update container tracking sheets, including shipment status, estimated arrival dates, customs updates, and warehouse deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels of candles, vessels, lids, fragrances, wax, packaging materials, and other components.
  • Assist with purchase order tracking and vendor follow-up.
  • Update customer order reports and shipment schedules.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports for manufacturing operations.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management.
  • Verify data accuracy across inventory, production, purchasing, and shipping records.
  • Coordinate with sales, purchasing, logistics, warehouse, and production teams to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
  • Perform clerical tasks including filing, scanning, organizing, and archiving documents.
  • Assist with inventory reconciliations and cycle counts.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical records for easy retrieval and auditing purposes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, filters, and formulas.
  • Strong data entry skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with inventory, logistics, production, or purchasing data preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple spreadsheets and reports simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic math and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in manufacturing, importing, distribution, or consumer goods industries is a plus.

Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
