ABOUT JOB
Our client is seeking a professional, reliable, and welcoming Receptionist to join our team . The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, and has a strong attention to detail when handling scheduling and insurance verification.
Key Responsibilities –
Phone Management: Answer multi-line phones efficiently, screen and route calls, take accurate messages, and address patient inquiries with professionalism.
- Scheduling: Coordinate and optimize patient appointments, follow-up visits, and urgent consultations within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience as a medical receptionist or in a healthcare administrative role preferred (orthopedic or sports medicine experience is a plus).
- Software: Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) and practice management software (e.g., eClinicalWorks, WebPT) and insurance verification portals (Availity, Navinet) is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong multitasking abilities, excellent verbal and written communication, and a calm, empathetic demeanor when interacting with patients in pain.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; medical office assistant certification is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.10 – $22.00 per hour
