ABOUT JOB
Our client is seeking an Office Assistant whose primary responsibility will be supporting daily operations.
The following is a list of at least some of the current essential job functions of the position. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time at its discretion.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primary responsibility to support maintenance and ordering of company supplies, food, and beverages, as well as daily stocking of all break rooms and kitchen areas across the facility.
- Handle front desk responsibilities, including answering phones, assisting visitors, managing deliveries, and supporting day-to-day office operations.
- Partner with the Facilities team to address warehouse concerns in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the weekly setup of office lunches; assist with other event coordination as requested.
- Support office filing, storage, and document management processes, including faxing, scanning, and copying.
- Answer phones and transfer to the appropriate staff member; take and distribute accurate messages.
- Assist with documentation and logging activities, including data entry.
- Support teams with various administrative and operational tasks.
- Perform other related duties of which the above are representative.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and take initiative.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service with a high emphasis on a professional and friendly attitude, attire, and demeanor.
- Internet skills including use of email, group messaging, and digital data collection.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, flexibility, reliability, and teamwork.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced office environment, meeting multiple deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALITIFICATIONS
- Highly proficient in Google Suite and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Capability for critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
COMPENSATION: $25 / hourly
