ABOUT JOB
Our client seeking office clerk for Customer Service and Accounting support.
Office Clerk will perform various administrative and clerical tasks to support customer service and accounting. You will undertake a variety of activities in the office ranging from filing and answering the phone to basic bookkeeping.
Responsibilities
- Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
- Answer phones and assist customer service.
- Taking orders over the phone.
- Data entry.
- Follow up on orders and manage order process to ensure order fulfilment.
- Prepare shipping documents.
- Work with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to assure delivery dates are met.
- Interact with salespeople, customer service, production and create reports.
- Communicate with customers and provide document request
- Assist accounting department with basic bookkeeping tasks and reports.
Requirements
- Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles
- Accurate math and data entry
- Knowledge on Outlook, Access, Word, and Excel.
- Strong Organization skills
- Able to work independent
- Excellent communication skills
- Detailed Oriented with a keen eye for mistakes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour
