ABOUT JOB
The Operations Administrative Assistant preforms assigned duties. Primary areas of work responsibility include: order verification, sales support, and purchasing support. This position works within our sales department to provide support for management
Duties & Responsibilities
Order Verification:
- Verify online orders against internal purchase orders
- Locate corresponding invoices and file electronically
- Produce shipping labels; coordinate shipping instruction with vendors
- Research and reconcile vendor order discrepancies
- Central contact for vendor order inquiries
Accounting Support:
- Process vendor invoices
- Order review, research and correct discrepancies
Purchasing Support:
- Assist purchasing team with various tasks as needed
- Product Sourcing via Online Searches
- Customer Service Support (instant messenger and email)
Other duties as assigned
- Maintain customer and vendor files
- Product organization within software system
- Properly review, and correct aged entries in software system
