ABOUT JOB
We are a commercial building company seeking a motivated and organised Reception / Administration Assistant to join our team . This role will be an integral part of the company’s administrative operations, providing front desk support and assisting with a variety of administration tasks.
What you’ll be doing
- Administration support to Company Directors, the Office Manager, Accounts Department and other staff
- Greeting and welcoming visitors and clients to the office in a professional and friendly manner
- Answering and directing incoming phone calls
- Providing general administrative support to all staff, including filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Managing return documentation from construction sites
- Thorough entry of information into client tender proposals
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies
- Performing other administrative duties as required
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a reception or administrative role, ideally within the construction industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Excellent attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
