ABOUT JOB

 

Our client  is seeking a full-time Receptionist to join our team. This is a non-exempt, 8-hour/day position, and the Receptionist is expected to work five days. The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of experience in a legal or professional services environment and demonstrate exceptional professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to client service and office support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, including answering and routing phone calls and managing voicemails
  • Prepare and process expense reports, reimbursement requests, and payment submissions in accordance with firm procedures.
  • Act as a liaison with building management and the parking office, submitting maintenance or access requests as needed.
  • Coordinate building and parking access for new hires and departing employees.
  • Work closely with HR and Office Management on new hire onboarding and office setup logistics.
  • Provide general administrative support, including conference room scheduling, meeting preparation, mail distribution, and courier coordination.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or administrative training preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with phone and visitor management systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, staff, and vendors.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proven reliability, discretion, and commitment to maintaining a professional front-office presence.

COMPENSATION

The pay range for this role is the hourly equivalent of $45,000 – $55,000 annually.
