ABOUT JOB

Join our dynamic team as a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant and become the welcoming face and organizational backbone of our office. This energetic role is perfect for someone who thrives on multitasking, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a smooth-running administrative environment. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring they receive a positive experience, while also supporting various administrative functions to keep our operations efficient and organized. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your office management skills in a professional setting.

Duties

 

  • Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls accurately and courteously using excellent phone etiquette
  • Perform data entry, and document proofreading to maintain accurate records and support office workflows
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence via email, mail, and courier services with attention to detail
  • Maintain office supplies inventory, organize files, and ensure the workspace remains tidy and efficient
  • Assist in renewal review, policy changes, billings.
  • Manage filing systems and assist with migrating paper files to client database.

Skills

  • Proven experience in office management or administrative support roles with strong clerical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment
  • Strong typing skills with high accuracy; familiarity with data entry procedures
  • Knowledge of front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and customer service best practices
  • Experience in insurance roles is a plus, along with personal assistant experience
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while demonstrating professionalism at all times
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines; basic bookkeeping skills are advantageous
  • Demonstrated time management skills to juggle multiple responsibilities efficiently

Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour
