ABOUT JOB

 

The Virtual Administrative Assistant role is for someone who genuinely loves checking things off a list, keeping things tidy, and making sure nothing slips. You don’t need to be the one driving the vision — you’re the one making sure the vision actually happens by handling the details that would otherwise pile up on a busy founder’s plate.

Our clients are business owners who are great at running their business but need reliable, thoughtful support behind the scenes. They need someone who can take a task, think it through, and get it done without needing their hand held.

What You Could Do Day-To-Day

Every client is different, so this list is representative, not exhaustive:

  • Scheduling, calendar management, and meeting coordination
  • Data entry and maintaining accurate records in CRMs or project management tools
  • Organizing and managing files and documents
  • Researching topics, opportunities, or platforms and summarizing findings
  • Scheduling and organizing social media content
  • Drafting follow-up emails and meeting action items
  • Coordinating with other team members like bookkeepers or social media managers

You’ll likely work well with our clients if…

  • You geek out over organizing data and files
  • You’re not phased if a client shows you all the mess of the business and throws a bunch of tasks your way
  • You can systematize a task list to execute things by priority even if a client hasn’t spelled out high or low priority
  • You have a knack for catching the small errors before they cause bigger problems
  • You’re not afraid to ask clarifying questions to get a task done right
  • Your previous managers or clients rarely have to ask you for status updates because not only are you on top of your work, but you also communicate well so they always understood your priorities and focus

You’ll likely miss the mark if…

  • Struggle to manage your time or work independently
  • Consistency isn’t a strong suit for you and you like a lot of variety in your day or you get bored
  • You resist taking ownership of mistakes or feedback always feels personal rather than useful.
  • You have a “that’s good enough” attitude rather than a love of learning and improvement
  • You prefer to work with larger teams and would struggle to be the sole team member for a founder
  • Lack a positive, solutions-focused attitude when challenges arise

What You’ll Need To Hit The Ground Running:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a remote administrative support role
  • Reliable internet, computer, and phone
  • Comfortable with common tools — Google Workspace, task management software, basic CRM platforms

More Details On This Role:

  • Hours vary by client engagement. Some clients start small at 5-10 hours per week, other clients start at 10-15+ hours per week.
  • When you join Auxo, we act as your support team helping you shine with clients
  • There is potential to grow with some clients and there are opportunities to work with more than one client based on performance, feedback, and fit

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour

Work Location: Remote
