ABOUT JOB
Our client is seeking a highly organized, personable, and proactive Front Office Administrator.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced healthcare environment, communicates confidently, and can balance patient service with strong administrative and operational skills. The Front Office Administrator serves as the first and last point of contact for patients while also supporting clinic efficiency, scheduling coordination, insurance verification, and overall office performance.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail oriented, tech savvy, and motivated to grow within a collaborative healthcare team.
Core Responsibilities
Patient Experience and Communication
- Answer phones, emails, and patient inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
- Build strong rapport with patients and maintain excellent customer service standards
- Assist patients with intake forms and ensure accurate documentation
- Reinforce appointment schedules and support patient adherence to treatment plans
Scheduling and Front Office Coordination
- Manage daily scheduling, appointment confirmations, cancellations, and rescheduling
- Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and communication with providers when needed
Insurance and Administrative Operations
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain required authorizations
- Collect copays and process payments accurately
- Maintain organized financial and administrative documentation
- Support reporting and tracking of clinic metrics including cancellations, no shows, and patient retention
Office Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office environment
- Support clinicians and leadership team with administrative tasks
- Assist with improving office systems and operational efficiency
- Help contribute to a positive, team oriented workplace culture
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of medical front desk, healthcare administration, or medical receptionist experience
- Experience with insurance verification and patient scheduling preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a busy clinical setting
- Comfortable using computers, EMR systems, and office technology
- Professional, reliable, and solution oriented mindset

Pay: $18.00 – $26.00 per hour
