Job Description
JOB DETAILS
We are seeking a part time or full time motivated and organized HR Assistant to join our team. You’ll play a key role in keeping our people operations running smoothly. You will assist with onboarding new hires to maintaining employee records and supporting day-to-day HR needs.
Duties
- Assist with the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, including paperwork, orientation scheduling, and equipment setup
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR files
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, policies, and HR procedures
- Support payroll processing by tracking timesheets, PTO, and attendance records
- Help plan and coordinate employee engagement activities and company events
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Provide general administrative support to the HR function as needed
Requirements
- Proven administrative experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems is a plus
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and eagerness to learn
Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
