ABOUT JOB
Our client is looking for an energetic, quick learner to join our dedicated team of legal professionals.
This vital role involves managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations. Ideal candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. Also, must have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and ability to work well with clients and the team, a high level of organizational abilities, and the aptitude to work independently and prioritize workload. Experience in the legal field would be helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
Essential Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Answer phones and route calls.
- Schedule appointments and consultations.
- Obtain detailed information from prospective clients.
- Perform data entry tasks to update client information and case files.
- Write routine administrative reports and correspondence.
- Provide secretarial support including mailing, scanning, copying, faxing, filing, and other clerical duties as required.
- Assist with document formatting, naming, conversion, and transfers.
- Respond to client and vendor questions, coordinate service requests, maintain logs, track and order supplies, and support daily office operations.
- Handle confidential and time-sensitive legal documents with professionalism, discretion, and strong attention to detail.
- Ensure meeting rooms and common areas are properly prepared and maintained.
- Uphold a professional demeanor at all times.
- Demonstrate an attitude of cooperation with legal staff, peers and administrators.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an office, legal, administrative, hospitality, or customer service environment.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Aptitude for learning a new software program, specifically our case management and billing system, Clio.
- Familiarity with legal procedures and terminology preferred, but not mandatory.
- Ability to function effectively in time-sensitive situations; exhibit professional maturity.
- Ability to resolve problems and arrange workload in order of importance to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently, as workflow dictates.
- Physically, candidates should be able to manage work that involves sitting for extended periods, lifting moderate weights related to office and mail supplies, and navigating office spaces efficiently.
- Notary Public certification, or ability to obtain certification within two months of employment.
Pay: From $25.00 – $35.00 per hour, depending on experience
Benefits: Paid time off, health insurance, statutory sick pay, and retirement plan.
Hours: 20-24 hours per week, with days of the week and hours per day to be determined with applicant.
Work Location: 100 South Ridge Street, Suite 204, Breckenridge, CO.
