ABOUT JOB

 

Our client  is seeking a Receptionist who is responsible for facilitating the smooth and accurate flow of information regarding the company.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prefer minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hospital setting
  • Experience in customer service preferred
  • Experience working with varied personality types preferred
  • Experience in working with volunteers preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the official greeter and is a knowledgeable advocate of the hospital.
  • Promptly and courteously greets and receives hospital patients, visitors, employees, physicians, vendors and other guests, using patient / customer names whenever possible.
  • When requested, contact hospital staff member / department to confirm appointment / arrival of the guest.
  • Assists with general inquiry and/or needs
  • Answers incoming telephone calls promptly and responds to general inquiries about meetings, programs, and services, making appropriate referrals.
  • Maintains a positive, upbeat attitude, consistent with patient / customer-focused model of care, with a goal of providing individualized service.
  • Maintains Information Desk department systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality for patient and other relevant information.
