ABOUT JOB
Our client is seeking a Receptionist who is responsible for facilitating the smooth and accurate flow of information regarding the company.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prefer minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hospital setting
- Experience in customer service preferred
- Experience working with varied personality types preferred
- Experience in working with volunteers preferred
Responsibilities
- Serves as the official greeter and is a knowledgeable advocate of the hospital.
- Promptly and courteously greets and receives hospital patients, visitors, employees, physicians, vendors and other guests, using patient / customer names whenever possible.
- When requested, contact hospital staff member / department to confirm appointment / arrival of the guest.
- Assists with general inquiry and/or needs
- Answers incoming telephone calls promptly and responds to general inquiries about meetings, programs, and services, making appropriate referrals.
- Maintains a positive, upbeat attitude, consistent with patient / customer-focused model of care, with a goal of providing individualized service.
- Maintains Information Desk department systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality for patient and other relevant information.
