ABOUT JOB
Our client is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of our accounting practice, ensuring the smooth running of our office and assisting our accounting professionals in delivering exceptional service to our valued clients.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the accounting team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organising meetings
- Prepare and process various financial documents, such as invoices, receipts, and client correspondence
- Maintain and organise physical and digital filing systems to ensure the efficient retrieval of important documents
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and other communications, and respond to queries in a professional and friendly manner
- Assist with the coordination of office supplies and equipment, and liaise with vendors as needed
- Provide general administrative support as required.
What we’re looking for
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably in an accounting or professional services environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and data
- A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach to work
This role is part time, ideally 5 days a week, school hours.
