ABOUT JOB
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team! This vital role combines accurate financial record-keeping with efficient administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will be energetic, highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills. You will handle a variety of clerical and bookkeeping tasks, and provide exceptional customer service to clients and team members alike. Duties
- Manage daily bookkeeping using QuickBooks, including invoicing, expense tracking, and bank reconciliations
- Handle data entry, filing, and document proofreading to maintain accurate records
- Support office management tasks such as calendar management, appointment scheduling, and supply ordering
- Provide excellent customer support via phone and email ensuring clear communication and timely responses
- Assist with administrative projects including document preparation, proofreading, and organization of files
- Maintain office organization through filing systems, inventory management, and ensuring a tidy workspace
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace is essential
- Excellent computer literacy including data entry, typing accuracy, and familiarity with multi-line phone systems
- 1-2 years prior experience as an administrative admin or assistant
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions with clients and visitors
- Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail for proofreading documents and maintaining accurate records
