JOB SUMMARY

 

We are seeking a professional and experienced data entry and customer service individual. This person will be helping an office of two already with data entry, answering the phone, greeting customers and completing paperwork for work orders.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, delivering friendly and effective support.
  • Enter, update, and verify data across multiple databases and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems with precision.
  • Maintain accurate records through meticulous data entry, including order processing, filing, and transcription tasks.
  • Utilize computer skills to manage spreadsheets, create pivot tables in Microsoft Excel, and organize information efficiently.
  • Assist with order entry, data collection projects, and clerical duties such as filing and document management.
  • Support team members by providing administrative assistance, including organizing files and managing office supplies.
  • Ensure data integrity by performing regular audits and maintaining organized records for easy retrieval.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with data entry, clerical tasks, or office administration is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating pivot tables and managing spreadsheets.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy to handle high-volume data entry tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with databases, ERP systems, and order entry processes is highly desirable.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for verifying numerical data and performing simple calculations.
  • Previous office experience involving filing, data collection, or transcription is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
