ABOUT JOB
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large volumes of information while maintaining a high level of accuracy. The position is expected to last approximately 1–2 weeks initially, with the possibility of an extension based on project needs.
About What You’ll Do
- Accurately enter and update election-related data across internal databases, spreadsheets, and systems
- Review information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Organize and maintain digital records, files, and project documentation
- Input information from various sources while maintaining established formatting and quality standards
- Conduct basic research and information gathering as needed to support the project
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records throughout the duration of the project
- Communicate any issues, discrepancies, or missing information to the appropriate team members
- Meet established productivity, accuracy, and turnaround-time expectations
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive or time-sensitive information appropriately
- Provide additional administrative and project support as assigned
About You
- Previous data entry, administrative, research, or office experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, and computer systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Ability to quickly learn new software, systems, and processes
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately with repetitive tasks and large volumes of information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Dependable, responsive, and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Ability to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Comfortable working with time-sensitive information in a fast-paced newsroom environment
- Positive attitude and collaborative approach
- Available to start as early as next week
- Able to commit to 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, for the duration of the project
About What We Offer
- Temporary position expected to last approximately 1–2 weeks initially
- $25–$28 per hour, commensurate with experience
- Fully remote work environment
- Full-time schedule of 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
