ABOUT JOB

 

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large volumes of information while maintaining a high level of accuracy. The position is expected to last approximately 1–2 weeks initially, with the possibility of an extension based on project needs.

 

About What You’ll Do
  • Accurately enter and update election-related data across internal databases, spreadsheets, and systems
  • Review information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Organize and maintain digital records, files, and project documentation
  • Input information from various sources while maintaining established formatting and quality standards
  • Conduct basic research and information gathering as needed to support the project
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records throughout the duration of the project
  • Communicate any issues, discrepancies, or missing information to the appropriate team members
  • Meet established productivity, accuracy, and turnaround-time expectations
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive or time-sensitive information appropriately
  • Provide additional administrative and project support as assigned
About You
  • Previous data entry, administrative, research, or office experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, and computer systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to quickly learn new software, systems, and processes
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately with repetitive tasks and large volumes of information
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Dependable, responsive, and able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working with time-sensitive information in a fast-paced newsroom environment
  • Positive attitude and collaborative approach
  • Available to start as early as next week
  • Able to commit to 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, for the duration of the project
About What We Offer
  • Temporary position expected to last approximately 1–2 weeks initially
  • $25–$28 per hour, commensurate with experience
  • Fully remote work environment
  • Full-time schedule of 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
