ABOUT JOB
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant to join our Bookkeeping firm. This role is essential in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills and be proficient in various office tasks, contributing to a smooth workflow within the organization.
Duties
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Manage office phone systems and handle customer support inquiries.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management.
- Coordinate front desk activities, ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient office management.
- Utilize computer literacy to manage accounting software and spreadsheets effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an office or bookkeeping role is preferred.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent customer support skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Proficient in office management practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with receptionist duties is a plus.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
