JOB DETAILS
Your role:
- Be the first point of contact with clients, via email and telephone.
- Provide information on services to new clients and provide engagement letters for signature
- Manage the workflow system in TaxDome; creating jobs and monitoring the services by accountants to ensure the workflow is updated
- Handle client invoicing and receive payments ; Monitor payments of vendors and suppliers
- Oversee HR/Payroll and onboarding of new and temporary staff
- Respond to client requests and be the liaison between tax professionals and clients
- Handle esignature requests and efiling of approved tax returns
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports to the firm owner as required.
- Oversee the social media accounts and followup on leads
You will report to the CPA/Senior Accountant and work with a team of Accountants and Professional staff. You will be expected to be available from 9am – 5pm Eastern time, with flexibility during the off-peak tax season from May through August and November through January.
We use Google Workspace and Tax Dome for administrative functions. We use UltraTax for tax preparation. Knowledge of Google Workspace, include Gemini is required. You will be expected to incorporate approved AI agents and solutions to work more efficiently and accurately.
You must be tech savvy and must have at least 5 years experience working with the tax and accounting industry. You must know the industry lingo (W2, 1040, S Corp, Balance Sheet, etc) . However, the most important qualifications are: a can-do, positive attitude, willingness to learn and use your initiative and professionalism with clients.
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
