JOB DETAILS
Responsibilities
Tenant & Owner Communication
- Respond to tenant inquiries via phone, email, and messaging platforms
- Handle concerns and resolve issues in a professional, solution-oriented manner
- Provide updates to property owners on occupancy, maintenance, and operations
- Send community updates, notices, and announcements
Maintenance Coordination
- Receive and prioritize maintenance requests
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to schedule repairs
- Follow up with tenants after service completion
- Track and close out work orders in the system
Administrative Support
- Maintain and update tenant records and documentation
- Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and security deposit processing
- Monitor rent payments and send reminders or late notices as needed
Leasing & Marketing
- Manage rental listings across platforms
- Respond to prospective tenant inquiries
- Assist with applicant screening (credit, background, references)
- Prepare lease agreements and renewals
Qualifications
- 1+ year experience in property management or customer-facing role
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage tasks independently in a remote environment
- Comfortable using property management software and digital tools
Preferred (not required)
- Experience with AppFolio, Yardi, or Buildium
- Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and leasing processes
Schedule
Flexible, but must be responsive during standard business hours
