ABOUT JOB
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Provides overall general HR and Admin support
- Insures compliance with time/attendance reporting
- Assists with payroll processing
- Assists with onboarding and new employee orientations and insurance open enrollments
- Monitors, maintains and processes monthly new hire, status change, and termination packets
- Archiving of current and terminated employee files
- Prepare job offer packetsanning)
Minimum Requirements include:
- Interest/experience with supporting HR and payroll
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong verbal and writing skills to communicate policy guidelines, programs, and procedures
- Ability to maintain Absolute Confidentiality regarding employee, payroll, and corporate information
- Strong sense of urgency and follow up/follow through
- Ability to be highly flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
- Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills
Preferred “Plus” Requirements include:
- Basic-intermediate knowledge of federal and state HR law and policies related to personnel, recruiting, compliance, benefits, and/or payroll
- Minimum 1 year’s experience with HRIS and implementing and supporting HR and benefits policies and procedures.
- Experience with BenefitMall/CompuPay is a major plus
Educational Requirements include:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Public Administration or related field or equivalent experience
