ABOUT JOB
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator . This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to play a key role in office operations while gaining greater exposure to administrative, HR, and business support functions within a growing engineering and commissioning consultancy.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Country Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations while providing administrative and coordination support across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Office Administration
- Provide general administrative support \
- Manage office supplies, facilities, and service providers
- Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and company events
- Maintain filing systems and ensure accurate document management
HR Support
- Assist with employee onboarding and induction processes
- Maintain and update employee records in line with company policies
- Support general HR administration activities
- Assist with preparation of HR documentation as required
Payroll Support
- Provide administrative assistance for payroll processes
- Support timesheet coordination and data collection
- Assist with maintaining payroll records and documentation
Business Support
- Assist in the preparation and formatting of proposals and submissions
- Update and maintain CRM systems with accurate client and project information
- Support business development activities through data management and reporting
About You
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Intermediate level Microsoft Excel proficiency with formula experience is required
- Experience with CRM systems (preferred)
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
- Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative or office support experience is required
- Exposure to HR or payroll processes (desirable but not essential)
- Australian work rights are required for this position
