ABOUT JOB

 

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator . This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to play a key role in office operations while gaining greater exposure to administrative, HR, and business support functions within a growing engineering and commissioning consultancy.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Country Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations while providing administrative and coordination support across multiple business functions.

Key Responsibilities

Office Administration

  • Provide general administrative support \
  • Manage office supplies, facilities, and service providers
  • Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and company events
  • Maintain filing systems and ensure accurate document management

HR Support

  • Assist with employee onboarding and induction processes
  • Maintain and update employee records in line with company policies
  • Support general HR administration activities
  • Assist with preparation of HR documentation as required

Payroll Support

  • Provide administrative assistance for payroll processes
  • Support timesheet coordination and data collection
  • Assist with maintaining payroll records and documentation

Business Support

  • Assist in the preparation and formatting of proposals and submissions
  • Update and maintain CRM systems with accurate client and project information
  • Support business development activities through data management and reporting

About You

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Excel proficiency with formula experience is required
  • Experience with CRM systems (preferred)
  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative or office support experience is required
  • Exposure to HR or payroll processes (desirable but not essential)
  • Australian work rights are required for this position
